HELP US PLEASE

We have achieved much over the last 3 years at the school, but nothing better than the increase in exam passes to the local Primary School - so much so that they have been awarded a feeding program for all the children for the next twelve months.

However this has now caused us a serious problem in that on visiting Mtondontoni Primary School the facilities there were far from adequate for our children to carry on learning to the standard they were accustomed to.

In stanards 1,2 and 3 there could be anything up to 95 children in one class, with one teacher, sitting on the floor as there were no desks.

To cope with this the school has a half day policy.

During my visit I had quite a few parents coming to ask me to start a Primary School at Amukeni as they were worried about their children’s education.

Unfortunately I could not promise them anything as it all comes down to finance, which the project here could not even contemplate.

What we urgently need is a piece off land plus some extra support to enable us to provide an education where the

children will have a chance in life.

If you have any ideas or suggestions then we would love to hear from you - Thank you
